1) Purpose
Sunport Data provides managed infrastructure designed for stability, reliability, and predictable performance. This policy exists to protect our network, our clients, and upstream providers.
2) General Standards
Clients may not use Sunport Data services in any manner that:
- Violates applicable local, state, federal, or international law
- Infringes intellectual property rights
- Distributes malware, spyware, or malicious code
- Facilitates fraud, phishing, or deceptive practices
- Creates network abuse or excessive resource strain
3) Prohibited Content & Activities
- Pornographic or sexually explicit content
- Adult entertainment platforms or escort services
- Illegal goods or services
- Hate speech or content promoting violence
- Spam networks or bulk unsolicited email operations
- Gambling operations requiring specialized licensing
4) Cryptocurrency & Blockchain Usage
Lawful cryptocurrency and blockchain-related businesses are allowed. However, the following are prohibited unless expressly approved in writing:
- Resource-intensive cryptocurrency mining operations
- Node clusters or workloads materially impacting shared infrastructure
- Token sales that violate securities laws
- Unlicensed financial schemes or high-risk investment programs
5) Resource Usage & Performance Protection
To ensure infrastructure stability:
- Sustained resource usage exceeding safe thresholds may require upgrade or scaling
- Abusive CPU, memory, or network consumption may result in throttling or suspension
- Infrastructure may be used for stress testing only when explicitly authorized
6) Security Obligations
Clients are responsible for maintaining secure credentials, updating applications, and safeguarding access to their environments. Sunport Data reserves the right to suspend compromised environments to protect network integrity.
7) Enforcement
Sunport Data reserves the right to investigate suspected violations. Violations may result in:
- Warning notice
- Immediate suspension
- Termination of services without refund
- Reporting to appropriate authorities if required by law
8) Amendments
Sunport Data may update this policy periodically. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of revisions.
